Scholarships, Bursaries & Awards There are several Scholarships, Bursaries & Awards available to current students in the College of Nursing at the University of Saskatchewan. At the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency we provide leadership in cancer control for the people of Saskatchewan through prevention, early detection, treatment, and research. Preference will be given to applicants whose hometown is in the area of Loreburn, SK (postal code area S0. H 2. S0). Applicants must have received their high school education outside of Saskatoon or Regina, achieved an entrance average of 7. Applicants must submit a letter outlining their community involvement, particularly their volunteer involvement in healthcare, two letters of support from teachers or other leaders in the community that underline the student's community involvement and evidence of financial need using the U of S Financial Need Calculator. Selection is based on academic achievement, financial need and community involvement.
